How do I get to Bay Flats Lodge?
For Texas residents, we recommend enjoying a scenic drive to Seadrift. For out-of-state fisherman, there are several airport options where you can fly in and rent a car:
Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP):
~1 hour, 30-minute drive to Bay Flats Lodge
Houston Hobby Airport (HOU):
~2 hour, 45-minute drive to Bay Flats Lodge
George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH):
~2 hour, 50-minute drive to Bay Flats Lodge

What is included with this trip?
Construction Discovery Experts covers lodging, 1.5 days of fishing, meals, alcohol, snacks and Brett’s best Dad jokes (sorry about that). Fishermen are responsible for their own travel to and from the lodge.

What should I bring?
TX Fishing license (required)
Light jacket and closed-toe shoes recommended for fishing
(fishing shirts provided)
Sunscreen

Do I need to bring fishing gear?
No, all fishing gear will be provided, along with a long sleeve fishing shirt.

What beverages will be available?
We will provide a full stocked open bar and a variety of soft drinks including Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Coke Zero, Diet Coke.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
Each fisherman has their own room, located in various lodges around the property. Room assignments will be provided at check-in.

Can I check-in early?
If you arrive before check-in at 4pm, you are welcome to relax in the outdoor kitchen area until your room is ready.

Will there be entertainment or activities beyond fishing?
Of course! In addition to Brett’s stand up comedy routine, we’ll have horseshoes and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the lodge’s views.

What if I need to cancel?
We completely understand. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can make necessary arrangements.

What is the dress code?
Wear whatever you’re comfortable fishing in. A light jacket and closed-toe shoes are suggested.

Can I bring a guest?
This is an invite-only event. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate the individual named on your invitation.
